Top tips to make your home cosy >>
- Delivery & Returns
The autumn has well and truly arrived and frankly, we all feel like we want to snuggle up in front of a fire with a cup of hot chocolate. What does cosy mean to you? For us it's fluffiness, squishiness, softness and warmth. Regardless of whether you home is modern and minimalist or whether you are a fan of all things rustic, there is always room for a little bit of cosiness. Here, we share a few ideas...
Create a window reading nook
Every window is an opportunity to create a cosy space for reading. A simple padded area layered with sheepskin rugs, scattered with cushions and a good reading light will give you all the cosiness you might need. Don’t forget a warm and snuggly throw for extra warmth.

Add softness to your dining set
Soften up your wooden bench seating with shaggy sheepskin rugs. They keep your guests’ bottoms warm and make for more comfortable seating. Layer multiple skins with different hair length or colour to achieve a medieval ‘Game of Thrones’ look.
Turn your bathroom into luxury spa
Add instant warmth and a feel of spa luxury to your bathroom by placing a solid oak block side table with a scented candle next to your bath. Did you know that sheepskin rugs make perfect bath mats? They are snuggly and warm, have natural antibacterial properties and you can wash them in a washing machine.
Read a book by the fire
Take a moment away from your screen and spend some time with a good old fashioned book. Light a fire, make a cup of tea, put on your woolly socks, pile some sheepskin rugs and cushions on the floor and read a chapter of your favourite book. Your kids will love to have their bedtime story read there too.

Fill your fireplace with candles
Sometimes it’s just too much of an effort to light a fire. Why not fill your fireplace with pillar candles? Place a few candles and sparkly trinkets on the hearth too to get the reflection of the candle light around the room.

Add cosy cushions and rugs to your modern leather sofa
We love the simplicity of a modern leather sofa with clean cut lines, but as the evenings draw in, we can’t help but start surrounding ourselves with cosy sheepskin rugs, plumped up cushions and warm throws. Just lovely.
Soften a minimalist room with a raw edge oak dining table
Living in a contemporary home but want to add warmth to your minimalist decor? Choose a warm colour for your wall and invest in a chunky oak dining table with a raw edge
Give in to knitted socks
Yes, yes it might not be the most chic of accessories, but oh how amazing they feel on your feet on a chilly autumn evening. Give in to the comfort, you know you want to.

Invest in merino wool
The height of comfort and luxury must be merino wool. Let the softest of merino wool throws and cushions pamper you in your favourite reading chair. It is an investment you will never regret.
Supersize your bean bag
There is truly nothing cosier than a giant sheepskin bean bag. The problem is that if you only get one, you will spend the whole winter arguing about who gets to sit in it. Add a touch of highland chic with a table lamp made from red deer antlers with a hand-mounted feather lampshade.
